All artwork is supplied as standard as TIFF files with CMYK colour and 300dpi resolution.

Artwork is generally emailed to the customer in a zip file to minimise data traffic but can be sent through the post on CD at no extra cost.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

There are two main areas to which SEO can be applied.

Internal Optimization

This is optimization that is carried out on the actual pages of a website and includes things like optimization of the meta tags and ensuring that individual web page content contains the right distribution of keywords.

It includes optimising the TITLE, DESCRIPTION and KEYWORDS meta tags and ensuring that these meta tags relfect the content of each page in a way that search engines recognise and reward.

Additional tags can be utilised so that extra content can be included that may not be immediately visible to the visitor but will be to the search engines. This kind of optimization also involves using the ALT tags of images and optimising the header tags.

External Optimization

This includes things like link building to create backlinks to your site from other trusted sites.

Backlinks are important to let the search engines know that your site is genuine (since other sites are prepared to link to it) and that your site 'does what it says'.
